Chapter 4: Family Reunion or The Plan
Within thirty minutes of the call, there was a knock at the door. Morty walked to the door to open it and Wave and Storm walked in. “Where is he?” Wave asked. “He-He's in the other room. Let me show you.” Morty stammered, looking at her. Once they caught glimpse of Jet, they ran over to him. “Oh Jet, we were so worried about you.” Wave cried, hugging her brother. “Thank you for finding him Shadow.” Storm thanked him. “One question, why is he wearing surgical scrubs?” Wave whispered to Morty, suddenly shivering. “I don't have any more clothes except scrubs, I'm a doctor.” he said. “Well, can we have some time to talk with our little brother?” Storm asked. “Take all the time you need you two.” Shadow replied. As Morty shut the door, both he and Shadow walked downstairs to the basement where they worked. “So how long do hawk's feathers normally grow back?” Shadow asked. “I don't know! I'm a doctor, not a hawk expert.” Morty quickly responded. “The only thing I'm thinking about is, how is Jet gonna get back at Knuckles?” Morty pondered. “Wait, your not thinking of...” Shadow feared. “Yes, I am. You will kidnap Knuckles, me and Jet will torture him even worse than Knuckles did, and dispose of him when were done!” Morty schemed. “NO! I will not let you kill him. I'm fine with torturing him, but I will not kill him. He is my friend!” Shadow boomed. “Ugh, fine. But he must atone for his sins.” Morty hissed.
